The HBT  Self-Hypnosis Programme - 21 and 22 July 2007 - Bournemouth

The great thing about self-hypnosis is that you will never have any doubt about who is in control. What is more, you will be able to create and install your own positive suggestions to improve your personal and /or business success in whatever aspect interests you.  Self-hypnosis is easy to learn and very enjoyable. It is also available to anyone.

The Benefits

The benefits depend on what you choose to focus on. You could easily address any or even all of the following using these techniques.

  • Increased self-confidence Improved performance in sports, careers, business and education
  • Less stress and more relaxation
  • Better self-management including health, fitness and even pain management
  • Increased Decisiveness
  • Increased capacity to deal with setbacks and challenges
  • Self-induced changes unproductive behaviours and habits with ease and comfort
  • Removal of phobias
  • Greater self-control
  • Improved memory skills
  • Easy weight loss
  • Stop smoking
  • Better Presentations

Another simple fact about self-hypnosis is that it doesn’t require a great act of will-power. In fact, self-hypnosis works almost in the opposite way to will-power. Have you ever wondered why most people who go on time management courses or diets, eventually end up giving up, and often become even worse? The answer is an over reliance upon ’will-power’. Forcing yourself to do something through abstinence and artifically imposed restraints rapidly leads to back-sliding, disillusionment and misery.

Self-hypnosis, on the other hand, enables people to negotiate with their own unconscious mind to find positive solutions to their issues: solutions which do not involve ‘cures’ that are worse than the original ’dis-ease’. By testing out your self-managed suggestions with your unconscious mind, you are able to identify substitute behaviours and choices that will work for you on an ongoing basis, providing you with all the positive benefits you really desire. Forget feast and famine. Self-hypnosis is the proven way to get your business, career and life back on track.

What the *!$*! is Hypno Business?!?

Friday, April 20th, 2007

Hello

This is the first ever blog from Hypnobusiness about….appropriately…..hypnobusiness. And, unlike my infamous newsletters , which you will need a separate dedicated printer for,  these blogs will succinct and to the point. (Go to www.hbtuk.com to sign up for my newsletters).

Hypnobusiness is simply what it says: the use of hypnotherapeutic techniques within a business context to resolve ‘issues’. The kinds of issues I resolve are any form of unresolved conflict; thinking errors (you know, like when your e mail goes down and you start proclaiming that your universe is falling apart at the seams and tat everyone hates you, including inanimate, abstract concepts, like cyber space….”Even cyber space hates me. That’s how loathsome I really am!”….that kind of thing); stress (I can help you experience less stress, or more stress, whichever you prefer); team working; performance anxiety (e.g.sales performance, although I cater for all types of performance enhancement, some of which are not appropriate in a business context); creativity and creative visualisation (you know: for product development and business planning); and so on and so on.

I am also the best management trainer and coach in Bournemouth…well Dorset….well the known universe, actually, and have 18 years’ expoerience of working in Corporate and SME businesses as a change agent. I can solve any problem that any human being can cause (unless you include my family in the definition of ‘human beings’). I just have to be allowed in to your premises and given carte blance to weave my magic spells. You won’t regret it. Oh, and you do have to pay me. There’s a sliding scale, depending on how much I like you and how wealthy I fantasise that you are.

There you go Laura(Laura is a serial fan/detractor of mine, as I am of her). Short and to the point. I know there were some long sentences and a few long words, but it’s not 5 pages is it? Not yet…..

 Harvey, the Attitude Therapist.
